- 1 1/2 lbs ground beef
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp mustard
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, onion, egg, milk, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Shape the mixture into a loaf and place in a baking dish.
- Combine ketchup, brown sugar, and mustard in a small bowl.
- Spread the sauce over the meatloaf.
- Bake for 1 hour or until fully cooked.
- Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
Notes
- Use lean ground beef for best results.
- Let the meatloaf rest before cutting to keep it moist.
- Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
