- 4 large bell peppers
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 cup shredded cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- Cut the tops off the bell peppers and remove seeds.
- In a skillet, cook ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add onion, garlic, rice, tomatoes, salt, pepper, and oregano to the skillet. Stir well.
- Fill each bell pepper with the mixture.
- Place peppers in a baking dish and bake for 30 minutes.
- Sprinkle cheese on top and bake for 5 more minutes.

- Use any color bell pepper.
- Substitute ground turkey for a lighter option.
- Add hot sauce for extra spice.
