- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 jar (24 oz) spaghetti sauce
- 8 ounces spaghetti noodles
- 1/2 cup butter, sliced
- 1 cup cottage cheese
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Cook spaghetti noodles according to package directions.
- Brown ground beef in a skillet and drain excess fat.
- Stir spaghetti sauce into the cooked ground beef.
- Layer half the spaghetti noodles in a baking dish.
- Top with half the butter slices, cottage cheese, sour cream, and mozzarella cheese.
- Repeat layers with remaining ingredients.
- Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top.
- Bake for 30 minutes or until bubbly and golden.
Notes
- Let the casserole rest for 10 minutes before serving.
- You can substitute ricotta cheese for cottage cheese.
- Add garlic powder or Italian seasoning for extra flavor.
