Ingredients

  • 12 oz jumbo pasta shells
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 15 oz ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Cook pasta shells according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  3. Brown ground beef in a skillet, then drain excess fat.
  4. In a bowl, mix ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan, egg, garlic powder, basil, salt, and pepper.
  5. Add cooked ground beef to the cheese mixture and stir well.
  6. Spread 1 cup of marinara sauce in a baking dish.
  7. Stuff each pasta shell with the beef and cheese mixture, then place in the dish.
  8. Pour remaining sauce over the stuffed shells.
  9. Bake for 25 minutes, or until bubbly and golden.
