Who am I?
Let me briefly introduce myself – my name is Mohsin (or as most people call me – Mo), and I’ve been growing tomatoes for over 15 years.
Ever since I was a little boy, I always loved being in the garden and growing plants. I found it fascinating that you could grow pretty much any plant you want with the right techniques. But I quickly learned gardening takes skill and knowledge. You need the proper tools, methods, and most importantly – experience.
Now, over 15 years later, I am still passionate about gardening and spend as much time as I can with my tomato plants. How can you not love tomatoes?
My Tomato Growing Experience
Long story short – I’ve been growing tomatoes most of my life. I’ve experimented with different varieties, soils, fertilizers, and staking methods. Along the way, I fell in love with the art and science of tomato gardening. The learning never ends. As gardening evolves, new ideas and tools become available to improve your skills. I LOVE THAT! I love learning and figuring out how to grow the most delicious tomatoes.
But you have to get hands-on experience. You can learn about gardening from books, videos or websites, but until you actually grow tomatoes yourself, you won’t be a real tomato gardener.
If you’re new to tomato gardening, don’t be intimidated. We all start with minimal knowledge and experience. Whatever your tomato goals are – you can achieve them! Start small and learn as you go.
Why I Created This Website
To be honest, I made this website to document some of my tomato-growing techniques, tips, and ideas for myself and to help others learn how to grow tomatoes at home.
Even if I help one person successfully grow tomatoes, it makes all my efforts here worthwhile. After 15 years of growing, my knowledge means nothing if it isn’t shared.
