Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1 lb)
  • 1/2 cup honey BBQ sauce
  • 1 cup white rice
  • 2 cups water or chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  3. Cook chicken for 5-6 minutes per side until fully cooked.
  4. Remove chicken from skillet and let it rest for 2 minutes.
